I had no problem with the show until i saw Jonny Lee Miller’s acting in it ^^.

I was holding back on calling this show anything before i actually saw the show, but i just saw the trailer and the lead actor has an acting range that is about that of a brick wall. He sounds monotone, uninterested (thus uninteresting) and very unbelievable - much like he really can’t be bothered to do the job he is doing so he is putting no effort into it. I’ve always heard Johnny Lee Miller was a good actor (though i have never seen him myself) what’s happened?

I’m not saying this because of liking BBC Sherlock, i was kind of looking forward to seeing another Sherlock adaptation, especially as the lead seems kind of good looking - but looking at the trailer from an objective point of view, his acting is absolutely terrible.

O well i will wait for the episode before i make the final decision ^^.

Three guesses as to what Lestrade’s division is ^^?

I was watching The Blind Banker and realised something that doesn’t make sense.

Why was John able to become a GP? Regardless of the fact he is already doctor it still requires about 5 years training ^^.

So i was wondering, did John train as a GP in the army? But then had to do his service or something? I really no nothing about the army ^^.

That awkward moment when Sherlockians rip on the fat guy because he apparently likes cake

and yet no one shames the skinny guy who was a drug addict, smokes, is functionally anorexic, and doesn’t ever sleep, and is basically a gigantic bag of dicks

I’m mad because people make fun of Mycroft for…

Lmao, one they’re not real characters. Two it’s a joke, Mark Gatiss is not exactly fat, a lot of it is just suggesting he likes the cake, not actually insulting him about it XD. I have yet to see a post actually insulting Mycroft about liking cake :P. Three joking about someone’s love for cake is harmless and a lot different from joking about someone’s drug addiction or ‘anorexia’ regardless of whether it is fictional or not.

Obviously it’s nothing to do with me whether your in the fandom or not but i don’t really understand you point in the first place ^^.

Am I the only one who’s not overly impressed with Benedict’s NY Times interview?

Yes, the fact he knows and approves the Otters is great. And yes, that comment about hair pulling will probably inspire tons of new wet dreams Sherock slash porn stories appreciation material. But just hold on…

I found it a bit tedious when i read that bit, but you also have to remember how out of context writing can be read when you can’t hear the person’s tone of voice or see their face. Especially when a journalist has written it, and going by the tone of the ‘narrator’ in the interview the journalist generally comes across as quite arrogant, cheesy and manipulative ^^. I am assuming NY times is a newspaper of some sorts? Newspapers tend to be very manipulative :P.

So i do agree with you somewhat, but i would just say keep in mind that it has probably been put out of context. Although it is a little bit annoying when people do that, but i suppose they are only human :).

The mysteriously growing bag pile ^^ (There is more of them in the second shot or they are more inflated :D).

Thoughts anyone? Continuity issues or purposely done?

The top image is first time wise :). Both are after he has already hit the ground ^^.

Young Sherlock :).

The only problem with Asa being young Sherlock is the fact his hair is far to straight ^^.

So i tried to make it curly… And failed :P.

I don’t know why but i have a feeling that Sally may of started of slightly like Molly (but a lot more of a bitch ^^), she had a crush on Sherlock he turned her down in his Sherlock fashion and that eventually lead to her being with him like she is now.

I say this because, one Sherlock refers to her (although rather sarcastically) as an old friend - assuming the sarcasm was meant for the friend part, this seems to suggest they have known each other for some time.

Secondly Sally’s hatred for Sherlock seems way out of proportion for someone who is just jealous of him for his intelligence. I mean although justice isn’t really his motives all he had ever really done is help Scotland Yard solve cases and while people must find his ‘smart arseness’ annoying Sally’s dislike towards him seems a lot more personal. She constantly tells Lestrade he is useless to them despite the evidence to prove otherwise. Like she just wants rid of him. A consistently calls him a freak in quite a viscous fashion. Even Anderson’s dislike towards Sherlock seems a lot more ‘tame’ than Sally’s.

Although there are odd times in which she seems quite playful with him, even when she calls him a ‘freak’ - maybe this is the old feelings she used to have for Sherlock coming through slightly.

I could be way off the ball about the crush thing, but i still feel there is something different about Sally’s hatred to Sherlock, like she knows something about him that has personally offended her in some way. Perhaps he was competition in school or uni, or something entirely different.

Thoughts anyone ^^?
